DiDa (District Dance) is a new high quality dance program for children in lower Manhattan. Founder/Director Jacki Ford grew up in Utah where she trained in all styles of dance. She graduated form the University of Utah ballet department and later moved to NYC where she worked as a professional dancer/perfomer in stage, film and TV, as well as a Radio City Rockette. She is currently on faculty at Gelsey Kirkland Ballet Academy as well as PACE University where she teaches ballet, jazz, conditioning and floor barre in the commercial dance and musical theater departments. As a mother of 3, Jacki is passionate about using the discipline of dance to instill values to succeed in not only dance, but life.
